2025 Fall Water Quality Report
Remember when you are out fishing please complete the Spring Lake Fishing Survey!
Spring is coming!
That means the Buffel head ducks will be back. The flowers will start blooming (our day lilies are already starting to come up)... and T-Mobile will be installing fiber.
The open water will bring out our fishing people! Don't forget to use the survey link and the 2026 fishing guidelines.
If you see some early blooming flowers send them in (springlakewi@gmail.com).
The Mount Pleasant Compost site will open soon so we will start hearing leaf blowers and lawn mowers soon.
The picture at the top was from our magnolia tree from April 15, 2023.
Location and Hours
The Compost Site is located north of Highway 20 (Washington Avenue) at West Road.
Seasonal operating dates are April 1, 2026, through November 18, 2026, weather permitting.
Hours of operation are:
Wednesday: 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The last vehicle is admitted at 5:45 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The last vehicle is admitted at 3:45 p.m.
The ICE Fishing is over for the season.
